Do you live in Reydon?
Do you want to have a say in future building development in our village?
If your answer is YES, then we need your help!

We are beginning the work of creating a Neighbourhood Plan for the village which will become part of the local planning rules and be considered when future planning decisions are made.
Our Reydon Neighbourhood Plan will build on the Village Plan which was completed in 2014 and use the information from the Housing Needs Survey carried out by the Parish Council in 2016/17.
We can only develop a Neighbourhood Plan if we can prove that it has the backing of our residents. When the plan is complete, probably in 2019, it must be approved by a local referendum. But, right from the very outset, we need to show that our aims have the support of the village.
We are holding two events in early March where you can drop in for about half an hour and tell us what you think about our proposed vision for the village and our six key issues for the Plan:

Proposed Key Issues

• Housing for local people
• Protecting the Countryside
• community assets and green spaces
• Flood risks and erosion
• Infrastructure: Sewage, Drainage, Roads and Parking
• Design Principles

Proposed Vision
 Reydon should:

• be attractive and sustainable
• enjoy its countryside location
• meet the needs of local people
• contribute to the local economy
• be prepared for risks from flooding, erosion, traffic and pollution

The Drop-in Events will be on:
6-8pm on Monday 12 March at the Village Hall
3.30-5pm on Saturday 17 March at the Randolph Hotel
Please come along to one event and help us shape the future of our village.
